Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking an experienced SDET to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, test automation, and quality assurance, with a keen attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

This opportunity is based out of Bengaluru, India (UTC+5.30), and requires full-time, in-office work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Automate test processes using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Perform API test automation using tools like Pytest and RestAssured.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide insights for improving software quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Must have experience in API test automation using Pytest, RestAssured, etc.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
