Backend Developers (SDE1 & SDE2)

Unosecur is looking for experienced Backend Developers (SDE1 and SDE2) to help build and scale our Cloud Identity Threat Detection and Response platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll work on core platform features, develop scalable backend services, and collaborate on mission-critical security products that protect identities across cloud environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Backend development: Build and maintain features and integrations for the Unosecur platform with a focus on scalability and performance.

Feature ownership: Deliver complex features independently and actively participate in design and architecture decisions.

Collaboration and feedback: Work closely with peers to give and receive actionable feedback on code, technology choices, and system design.

Business translation: Translate product requirements into robust, maintainable backend systems.

Mentorship (for SDE2): Guide junior engineers, enhance team autonomy, and promote technical growth.

Problem solving: Tackle high-scope technical challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience:
‍SDE1: 2–4 years of backend development experience.
SDE2: 5–7 years of experience delivering scalable distributed systems.

Tech stack: Familiarity or experience with TypeScript, Python, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, and optionally React.

Systems thinking: Experience designing systems from the ground up and optimizing them for scale.

Autonomy: Ability to navigate ambiguity, make sound technical decisions, and work independently.

Preferred background: Candidates from Tier 1 engineering colleges and/or with cybersecurity experience are strongly preferred.

NICE TO HAVE

Zero to One experience: Built scalable systems in early-stage environments.

Security mindset: Exposure to security, identity, or compliance-driven products.

Cloud-native development: Experience working with cloud-native services, infrastructure, and DevOps practices.

Mentorship skills: Ability to mentor and support peers in technical growth.
